Monday 21st May
Table tennis	The Table Tennis Group will meet in the Gertrude Preston Hall from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm.
Jewish Social Centre	The Bournemouth Jewish Social Centre will be meeting in the Simcha Hall as usual.
Ivrit Class	Ori Glaser will be holding the Ivrit Class – Intermediate only at 11.10 am in the classroom.
Adult Education	Adult Education will be meeting at 8.00 pm when together with the Parkes Institute for Jewish/non Jewish Relations and Southampton University, they will be presenting a Mini Lecture Series for the Summer entitled: – Interpreting Jewish Spaces. Dr Helen Spurling will talk about ‘The End of the World: Jewish Apocalyptic Visions’.
Tuesday 22nd May
Israeli Dancing	There will be Israeli dancing for ladies in the Menorah Suite – Beginners/Intermediate at 7.00 pm and the Advanced class at 8.00 pm.
Ladies Parsha Group	The Ladies Parsha Group will be meeting at 7.30 pm at the home of Lea Lindall. For further information, please telephone 552751. All ladies are welcome to join them! Desire for knowledge is the only requirement!
Wednesday 23rd May
Mini Menorah Playgroup	The weekly Mini-Menorah Playgroup for pre-school children will be meeting in the Gertrude Preston Hall from 10.00 am – 12.00 noon. Parents, grandparents, carers and visiting families are welcome with their pre-school children. Mothers-to-be are also welcome. For further information, please contact Jan Knapp on 07812050595.
Jewish Art Group	The Bournemouth Jewish Art Group will meet from 10.00 am – 12.00 pm in the Simcha Hall. All newcomers are welcome. Contact Pat or Isobel on 255085 or 557167.

Shabbat Evening 26th May
Tikun Leil Shavuot	Please join us for the traditional Study Session in the Menorah Suite. Mincha will be at 8.30 pm followed by a Seudah Shlishit/Tikun Leil Shavuot (Salmon Supper). Ma’ariv in Shul will be at 10.15 pm followed by Candle Lighting, Kiddush and Tikun Leil Part 2. To book please contact the Shul Office by Monday 21 May. Members £14.00, Non-Members £16.00.
Sunday 27th May
1st Day Shavuot	There will be a Sephardi Minyan in the Gertrude Preston Hall at 9.30 am There will be a Kiddush following the service in the Menorah Suite hosted by the Ladies Guild.
Monday 28th May
2nd Day Shavuot	Following the childrens’ service there will be an Ice Cream Party for children in the Gertrude Preston Hall. There will be a Kiddush following the service in the Menorah Suite hosted by the Ladies Guild.
Wednesday 11th July
League of Jewish Women Outing to Cheltenham	Encouraged by the success of their Summer Outing to Plymouth last year the League of Jewish Women are now in the process of planning a trip to Cheltenham, a lovely Regency Spa Town on the dge of the Cotswolds, where there is a small Jewish community and a beautiful Synagogue dating back to 1837. However before advancing their plans any further they need to be sure that a minimum of 30 people would be interested in joining them. They will be setting off at about 9.00 am and returning to Bournemouth by 8.00 pm. The journey each way including comfort/coffee stops will take about three hours. Once in Cheltenham you will have time to explore this elegant town, with its impressive range of quality shops and restaurants, interesting museums and beautiful open spaces. There will be an organised visit to the Synagogue, an opportunity to meet members of the community and time for Afternoon Tea. The ticket price will be £27.50 maximum and will include Executive coach travel, and refreshments.
