Hello, we want to introduce you
to a new Jewish organisation.
We believe that Judaism should speak to Jews.
It shouldn’t be outdated; it should be fresh and energetic.
It shouldn’t be ritualistic; it should be spiritual and uplifting.
It shouldn’t be boring; it should be captivating and relevant.
It shouldn’t be insular and closed minded; it should be welcoming and have a global agenda.
In short, Judaism can capture the imagination of Jews of today, and show them it can offer wisdom and insight - in a way that relates to someone living in the 21st Century. Without the need to compromise itself in any way whatsoever.
We are an open and welcoming organisation
You will find no hidden agendas at Tikun.
We are Orthodox Jews, but we’re not selling Orthodoxy. In fact, we’re not ‘selling’ anything. Here’s what we are offering in plain English.
Wisdom about life and Encouragement to get involved in improving our world.
Of course
As Orthodox Jews, we can’t say we don’t believe that Judaism has the answers. We do! But thinking we have answers doesn’t mean to say that there aren’t other people and organisations that also have answers. This world is full of answers. Who is the wise one? The one who learns from every human being. Learn from us. Learn from others. Learn from everyone. And ultimately, learn from yourself - for the truest answers of all lie within our own selves. Sounds Eastern? It’s pure and pristine Judaism.
Tikun is for every Jew
and we mean every Jew
Whether you are Orthodox, Reform, Liberal, Masorti, Zionist, Secular or any other denomination, Tikun has something to offer you. Whether you feel excited, disinterested, moved, rejected, angry, uplifted, frustrated, overwhelmed or apathetic towards Judaism – or whether you feel nothing whatsoever and it’s just not on your radar, it’s still worth checking us out. You might just find something that does something for you.
And by the way, our educational programmes should not be exclusively for Jews. Wisdom is universal. There is no need for us to keep it to ourselve

Then Tikun is not for you. Looking for us to show you how to be inspired by yourself – you’ve come to the right place. Our wisdom is not theoretical. At Tikun, wisdom is practical. If you can’t apply it to your life, then what’s the point? Fluffy ideas can be made to sound lovely.
But true wisdom must be packaged and ready to put into practice.
The world was created for you

We feel that sometimes Judaism can come over as a bit too insular.
That’s not the case at Tikun.
The mission of the Jewish people has always been Tikun Olam – perfecting our world. Be it volunteering at hospitals or homeless shelters in England, Israel or somewhere else. Being involved in a campaign for better values in our society, or simply sharing what you know with those around you, Tikun will help you get involved in the world of giving. We think it’s exciting that the world is ours to improve.
And we plan on getting out there and improving it! 'We’d love for you to help us do so.
